Born in Sioux Falls, graduated from Lincoln Senior High School in 1990. Chris attended the University of Sioux Falls, following which he joined the Dunham Company as a construction manager for both residential and commercial development. In 1993, Chris obtained his real estate license and began selling commercial real estate . That same year, Chris joined the Sioux Falls Board of Realtors. Chris sold commercial real estate until the fall of 1995, when he accepted a position with Bank One and relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. In 1997, Chris returned to Sioux Falls and began selling residential real estate for the Dunham Company. In 1998, Chris became a licensed South Dakota Real Estate Broker.
In 1999, Chris started Milestone Consulting & Construction Services, Inc., a general contracting company operating in Sioux Falls. Over the last ten years, Milestone Consulting & Construction has built many single-family homes and twin homes. Milestone Consulting & Construction Services Inc. continues to serve customers today in a myriad of ways, from the drafting and design stages through the final walkthrough.

Chris is a member of the Sioux Falls Downtown Lion’s Club and is the Club’s immediate past president. He was recently awarded the distinction of a Melvin Jones Fellow—the highest recognition granted by the Lion’s Club International Foundation. Chris and his wife, Susan, live in Sioux Falls. They have two sons, Quinn and Zachary.
